Prison Talk, Learn The Lingo
Being held inside a prison isn’t normally such a fun thing to experience, for your freedom and lifestyle are going to be forcefully taken away from you. However, many individuals have found interest and delight in learning the prison talk or prison lingo for some apparent reason. There have been many forums and blogspots pertaining to informing many individuals on how to speak the prison language, some young people believe it adds a lot of swagger when you add some elements of this lingo to your normal language. But for most people, talking in prison lingo isn’t such a cool thing. Studies have shown that more and more individuals are identifying the different slang’s and terms, they look for this on the internet or bookstores. These are just some of the words being used regularly by prisoners who have been inside the correctional institutions long enough. Nowadays, a lot of young people or even young professionals incorporate these words with their friends or other people who they think have sufficient knowledge about prison talk. They do it to try and appear to be all tough and hard. Unfortunately for them they look like posers and anyone who is actually an ex-con, wants to smack them in the mouth. Thankfully, many people wouldn’t appreciate or even try to understand why a person would learn such things coming from an unwanted place. They find other more useful things to take pride in.
For most people, learning the prison talk isn’t just about showing people that you are somehow tough or can be tough, they treat this as a fad and that will fade after a period of time. It takes a real former inmate to fully grasp the nuances of the language and to use these words to communicate effectively with people who face the same circumstances in their lives.
